Naz Parker

Kirklees Home and Neighbourhoods manages approximately 22,000 homes for Kirklees Council and employs over 800 staff in a range of jobs from plumbing to marketing, joinery to human resources. Every day is different, but our main aim is to improve the lives of people in Kirklees by providing quality homes in successful communities.

Tual Go Chin - Manual Sweeper

Tual Go Chin

I work within the Council’s Cleansing Service which is responsible for carrying out refuse collection and street cleaning throughout Kirklees.  I work largely on my own in an allocated area using a Street Orderly Cart and other equipment which will be provided to maintain clean streets. As a front-line member of staff I regularly come into contact with citizens and will need to be committed to providing excellent customer service.  I help to identify and report problems about waste so that appropriate action can be taken to improve the whole street environment.

Lucy Kirby - Marketing, Communications and Events Officer (Fostering)

Lucy Kirby

I manage, co-ordinate and develop the marketing, recruitment and retention strategies for the Fostering service and oversee the effective implementation by delivering marketing campaigns and press/communications.  To increase our in-house capacity of local foster carers, who can provide loving, stable and safe homes for our local children and young people to grow and thrive.

Ahmed Ahmed - Carephone Officer

Ahmed Ahmed

My role is monitoring assistive technology equipment, helping vulnerable people live safely and independent in their homes. I also monitor schemes (sheltered housing), lone worker and security of our buildings. We also work cooperative with homecare(carers), contact/family, emergency services and other professionals.
