It’s an exciting time to join Kirklees Council Highways service. It’s a high-profile area with major projects, town centre blueprints, and day to day maintenance. The service we provide has a direct impact on our residents and local businesses, as well as those that work and visit Kirklees, providing access to work, health, education, and leisure services.
With our unremitting programme of highways work to improve, manage and maintain a safe and reliable network, we cover everything from, pothole repairs, resurfacing, bridge maintenance, street lighting and infrastructure, to road safety and public rights of way (PROW) to major highway design and traffic signal installations.
We’re an integral part of the exciting delivery of the council’s dynamic 10-year vision with the Huddersfield Blueprint and Dewsbury Blueprint plans,helping to create better access to our town centres.
