Headlands CE J I & N School is a successful primary school with high expectations of attainment and achievement for all pupils, described by Ofsted as ‘thriving where a culture of good teaching and learning, good behaviour and personal values thrive’. Visitors to our school always comment on the warm, friendly and professional welcome they receive. As a forward thinking school we aim to provide the very best education for all our pupils within a supportive school community. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to work as an Educational Support Assistant initially within Early Years.

Take up the challenge of being an Educational Support Assistant at Headlands CE J I & N School.

We require applicants with:

  • Creative, fun and innovative ideas for motivating young children
  • An ability to adapt to new challenges and situations

  • Enthusiasm for working as part of an Early Years team as well as an ability to work independently

  • Superb interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with pupils, parents and professionals

  • Motivation to develop their own skills and talents in order to support pupils and colleagues

If you can offer the above then come and join our team.

In return we will offer:

  • The opportunity to work within a school recently judged as ‘good’ by Ofsted
  • A highly professional, dedicated, enthusiastic, supportive and hard-working team

  • Continuous professional development opportunities

  • Well behaved, happy pupils who are eager to learn and are proud of their achievements

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

All candidates are warmly welcomed to visit the school.  Please ring the school office on 01924 767066 to arrange an appointment or if you require further information about the role. You can also visit the school website at www.headlandscofeschool.co.uk
