An exciting opportunity to work directly with senior business leaders and education partners to develop employer commitment in education; securing better outcomes for young people in our region.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority are seeking to strengthen our existing Enterprise in Education Team and looking to appoint a key role to the team to proactively engage businesses and schools in the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP). This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with senior business leaders to support the creation and development of innovative new employer engagement activity in schools.
The role will be working with key partners, including employers, to develop our high profile careers campaign for young people and their key influencers and will work closely with our communications team. You will have a good understanding of employer’s skills requirements and how to embed careers learning in classroom through creating toolkits for schools, parents and young people.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who would want to contribute to making a difference to young people’s employability in Leeds City Region.
Proactive and confident in engaging businesses and communicating new initiatives
Creative thinker, able to develop ideas and schools careers and enterprise programmes
Proven experience of building professional relationships, excellent networking and liaison skills
Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders.
Track record of delivering project outcomes and improving performance
