The Kirklees Safeguarding Adults Board (KSAB) is a statutory partnership hosted by the local authority and in this post you will ensure that it fulfils its statutory responsibilities, meets strategic and operational requirements, delivers its work programme, and ensures that the partnership is developed to ensure synergies with related agendas.
As Partnership Manager for the Board, you will provide a strategic lead to the KSAB and associated subgroups, ensuring the KSAB continually develops its approach for safeguarding and promotes desired outcomes for adults at risk in line with Making Safeguarding Personal.
This post ensures that the board works effectively, meets its strategic and operational responsibilities and ensures synergies with related agendas such as domestic violence, children’s safeguarding and community safety initiatives.
It has the lead role in ensuring the KSAB continually develops policies, procedures, training and communications for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk.
The post has responsibility to promote the understanding, prevention of and response to adults at risk across the community of Kirklees and will have an active role in developing, implementing and reviewing methods to support the overall performance of the KSAB in line with the shared outcomes for Kirklees . The KSAB needs to work closely and effectively with the relevant Strategic Boards and other partnerships to ensure a cohesive strategic lead in promoting the safeguarding as everybody’s business.
Using excellent interpersonal and networking skills, the post is required to actively develop and support this wide range of complex partnerships.
