Regulatory Compliance Officer – Business Growth and Regulation

Based at Morley, Leeds
West Yorkshire Trading Standards is recruiting to continue to provide comprehensive support to West Yorkshire businesses and consumers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in our Business Growth and Regulation team to provide regulatory services focussing on consumer product safety, age restricted sales, the car trade, and Primary Authority Partnerships.
Part of West Yorkshire Joint Services, you would be working in an organisation serving the five District Councils of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield.
Previous trading standards/regulatory compliance experience is desirable, but not essential, as full on the job training will be provided to the right candidate. We would welcome applications from partly qualified Trading Standards Officers or those holding a standalone investigation qualification covering PACE 1984, criminal investigations and legal process.
