Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Hillside Primary School
The Trustees, CEO and Local Academy Board seek an outstanding practitioner for the post of EYFS Lead at Hillside Primary School. The successful candidate will have high aspirations for all and believe passionately that all children, whatever their background, can and will make the academic and personal progress for them to lead happy, fulfilled and successful lives.
You will need to be solution-focused and relish supporting pupils and staff to fulfil their learning and teaching potential. We aim for everyone at Hillside to enjoy their education and develop a lifelong love of learning.
All children at Hillside are supported to thrive and to achieve their potential, regardless of any SEND. Children identified as having a SEND have the same access to high quality teaching and engaging learning environments as all other children in School and, in addition, will have a support plan and one page profile which will outline their strengths and difficulties and ensure all staff in School are aware of the most appropriate teaching strategies to use to ensure the best progress possible is made.
All children at Hillside access the curriculum at a level which challenges them to make progress across all areas of school life. We encourage and support children to strive to achieve their potential. All teachers at Hillside are teachers of children with SEND and as such provide high quality teaching which takes account of the particular individual needs of children with SEND within their classrooms. Where a child's SEND is supported through an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) support staff are deployed to provide targeted support.
